Text Box: Happy Fall! The weather has been beautiful lately and we hope you've had a chance to experience the changing leaf colors along the trail. Read on for upcoming events -- including rail trail repaving, our monthly bike party this week, and our annual meeting in December.

See you on the trails soon!

COMING SOON
We’re excited to announce that the bike path from King Street to Look Park will be repaved soon! During this time, the trail will be closed and detours in place to ensure everyone’s safety. Please help us share the news and ensure folks stay off the trail to make sure that the repaving project can be completed quickly with minimal disturbance.
Friends of Northampton Trails is collaborating with the Northampton Department of Public Works to share the paving timelines and highlight detour routes.
Stay tuned for updates, and thank you for your patience as work to enhance our beautiful trails is underway!

Have you noticed the new trail maps filling the kiosks along the rail trail network? FNT and the the Friends of the Manhan Rail Trail recently completed a redesign and update of the map which was last printed in 2015. This partnership worked closely with Jake Lehan of Eathampton who compiled layers of GIS data and incorporated new connections of bike and ped routes throughout Hampshire County. The maps are also available on our website here
