This hearing aims to gather public input to assess the community's cable-related needs and Comcast's performance under its existing license, which is set to expire on April 3, 2026. Public participation is a critical component of this federally and state-mandated ascertainment process, which will determine whether Comcast’s license is renewed or denied.

Mayor Sciarra invites all interested parties to participate by speaking during the hearing or submitting comments. Comments can be emailed to mayor@northamptonma.gov or sent in writing to the Mayor’s Office at City Hall, 210 Main St., Northampton, MA 01060.
