Text Box: Statement from Mayor Sciarra on the Passing of Molly McGovern April 24, 2025 On behalf of the people of Northampton, I want to express my deepest condolences to Congressman Jim McGovern, his wife Lisa, and their son Patrick on the heartbreaking loss of their daughter and sister, Molly. Molly’s passing is felt deeply throughout our region by all who have worked with Congressman McGovern and come to know his steadfast compassion and commitment to public service. We hold his family in our hearts as they grieve the unimaginable.
