IMPORTANT INFORMATION FROM CITY COUNCILOR MARIANNE LABARGE
I wanted you all to be aware that the contractor for the demolition of the Moose Lodge will be mobilizing toward the end of October. The actual demolition and restoration may take up to 1 week. During this time the public access to the Fitzgerald Lake Conservation Area from the Cooke Avenue entrance will be closed to the general public. It would be great if you could notify your constituents of this upcoming temporary closure. I will be given a week's notice ahead of the actual date that the contractor will be fencing off the area and I will plan to send that information along when I receive it so that the specific days of closure will be known.
